The police office in the Pakwau area of Bor confirmed that on the night of 26 of May, gangs attacked and injured man near the POC camp in Bor. The man cried out for help. But as young men inside the POC camp rushed to help him, armed cattle keepers who were camping nearby also came to the scene and shot at the young men who were coming from the POC camp thinking that they were the attackers. The shooting caused some commotion at the scene and inside the POC. However the Police arrived from nearby Pakwau police station and restored calm. And took the injured man to the hospital. But they were unable to arrest the attacker.
