A nurse working for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) based in Morobo Hospital was transporting a pregnant woman with complications from Morobo Hospital to Yei Civil Hospital for proper management. On her way back to Morobo, in a place called Kanja, she was stopped and taken away by unknown gunmen. Up until now, no contacts have been made, the abductors have not reached out, and the whereabouts of this nurse remain unknown. These are very frustrating events that happen on almost daily basis. It's so sad that people who risk their lives to save the lives of others are not treated exceptional in this madness. We hope and pray that this nurse be released soon. however on the 28th july 2025, she was released. she underwent medicals and she is okay.
