MODERATOR Something else that is instilling more fears is the fact that Safaricom net was down the for the better part of the day

MODERATOR They panic for two reasons according to security personnel some fear because they are having illegal arms so its not going to be bussines as usual for poachers e.t.c, to my observation majority fear because of how the previous KDF operation in Ozi was conducted, very intense bombings and close proximity to villages. Further-still they imagine where the aircraft dwells for long there are high chances that the armed militia that terrorized Mpeketoni and Lamu have been spotted meaning they are near the village

MODERATOR When they say "panic," were people really that fearful?

If yes, was it because of something the aircraft was doing? I know they are relatively rare in this part of Kenya but just seeing an aircraft flying by should not cause panic unless it is doing something unusual.
